We do not allow members to use our Southron heroes names as their username on the forum.
# 1 - For your safety and that of our members. Do not post address', phone numbers or E-mail on the forum. They can be used as a form of harassment and/or unwanted solicitations.
# 2 - Foul language will not be tolerated. Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted. Want to get banned? Here's a quick way... Take Our Lord's name in vain!
# 3 - Absolutely, No criticism of anyone's race, faith or jokes of same "excluding fundamentalist islam." See below." *
# 4 - Debates are great, as long as they remain respectful!
# 5 Always display a positive, friendly attitude. You may find that what goes around comes around. Be respectful of others' opinions. Allow your fellow members to voice their opinions without attacking them.
# 6 DO NOT Make Inappropriate or Offensive Posts - including threats, harassment, swearing, prejudice, slander or deliberate insults/name-calling, or other negative remarks about SHNV, SA or SWR, its moderators, administrators, or your fellow members. Even if your own personal opinion, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS. ---- No talk of violence! If you must, to get your point across, please do it by E-mail or PM.
# 7 We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Advertising or solicitations in signatures is also prohibited. ... Post or signatures of this type will be removed without notice.

# 8 DO NOT POST PORN or adult content. This also includes sites promoting activities such as hate, drug abuse, gambling and sites with links to above content.
# 9 Do not use all caps or excessively large font sizes, as it is considered to be "shouting" and is very rude.
# 10 Image Restrictions:
If you post an image in the forums, please keep the image size under 50K, and preferably under 300 x 300 pixels. Large images causes slow loading for many users.
# 11 Copyright WARNING. Nothing modern and creative is in the public domain anymore unless the owner explicitly puts it in the public domain. Explicitly, as in you have a note from the author/owner saying, "I grant this to the public domain." Those exact words or words very much like them. This includes personal E-mail.
#12 Anyone using Southrons, Dixie or the South, as the subject of jokes/humour, threats/ ill will or,
anything derogatory toward same, will be deleted. If it happens again, that member will be banned.
#13 Slander of members is not allowed on The SWR forum or PM's, we're not interested nor invested in becoming a "court of opinion" in such matters. NO WARNING... You will be banned
#14 ANY posters comments that need correction, poor taste, spelling, etc. will be handled by E-mail and that E-mail will be sent by one of the moderators AND NO ONE ELSE!
Far too many want to be educator extraordinaire on the internet already!
Those that don't like this new rule can start their own educational forum.
The penalties for copyright infringement are very harsh: the court can award up to $150,000 for each separate act of willful infringement. Willful infringement means that you knew you were infringing and you did it anyway. Ignorance of the law, though, is no excuse. If you don't know that you are infringing, you still will be liable for damages - only the amount of the award will be affected.
Post only a sentence or two and add a link to the subject.
Copyright is not the sole legal basis for objection. Anyone who makes derogatory references to others (or their sites, products or services), however it is done, invites trouble. Be careful what you say/insinuate.
The above penalties apply to you, the poster only, not the forum. But, we could lose our forum for allowing the above.
Forum Abuse Policy:
Please report any member whom you feel to be in violation of these rules to a moderator or Site Admin immediately. HERE
1st Offense - A polite Private Message from a Moderator pointing out the Forum Rules, in addition to the editing or deletion of the post.
2nd Offense - Public warning on the message board plus deletion of post.
3rd Offense - Delete the user from the SWR forum and all their post.
We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
