I will do an 8” x 10” or a 9” x 12” portrait in acrylic paint. This can be of a WBTS veteran or person of that era or someone famous or from a sketch or even someone much more modern (like your grandma or grandpa or a grandchild or two).  Heck, I can even do your dawg or horse. What is necessary is a photo with good enough resolution to see what I’m trying to paint! I’m good, but I’m not that good!

If it is an old black and white photo, I need information (color of eyes, hair etc.); if it is colored, well, let me know if the color is true! Not all photos are. If it is someone famous whose photo is available on line (Lee, Jackson etc.), send me the site and tell me what photo you want and I’ll take it from there.

DON’T SEND THE PHOTO!!!!!!!! Especially if it’s a family heirloom. Take it to a copy shop and have it copied or scan it into your computer and copy it out from there (again, if it is a color photo, be sure that the color is “true”).

Mail the photos to PoP with the information: size, color information on b&w photos etc.

I will frame the finished painting and mail it to the person who orders it when I have finished always assuming that you can let me know you have received payment in full for it. An 8x10 would be $50; a 9x12 would be $75 (both include the frame and mailing costs). I can tell you that one of Mosby by a far more famous painter than myself was quoted at over $1,000!! Of course, I’m not famous but I think those who have received my work seem happy with what they get!

This is to raise money for the forum, but it's also to give back something to the faithful who have served so long and so well with so little reward but the love of their compatriots.
